Terms & Conditions



We are O Beach Ibiza, operated by Ice Mountain Ibiza SL, a Spanish company with company number B57704124, our registered office address is at 12-14 Carrer Des Mali, San Antonia, Balears 07820 (the “Company”), and these terms and conditions set out what we can expect from each other when you book on to our Maldives takeover. 

When we say “we”, “us” or “our” we mean the Company and when we say “you” or “your” we mean you, as the lead name, or you and everyone you are travelling with, depending on the contact. 

When you book on to our Maldives takeover, whether on your own or as part of a group booking, you are accepting our terms and conditions. 

Our agreement is made under the laws of Spain and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. You can choose the law and jurisdiction of another country but only if that country is your permanent country of residence.


Our Maldives takeover will take place from 4th November to 29th November 2022.

You must be aged 18 years or older at the time of travel. No entry at the hotel or venues allowed without valid ID. 

All package prices are stated on our website and includes access to all events across during the Maldives takeover. 

Packages include hand-picked accommodation and an exclusive day and nights events calendar. 

You will have access to hand-picked accommodation with a choice of staying at the Hard Rock Hotel or Sai Lagoon Maldives, with access to the “All INCLUSIVE MEAL PLAN” subject to availability. 


Bookings may be made on our website or by telephone via the O Beach Ibiza reservation teams.

When you are booking with us, you have the option to make a full payment for the booking or pay a deposit followed by two instalment payments. You can find further details of the payment methods on our website or from the O Beach Ibiza reservations team. 

To secure the booking, depending on which payment option you choose full payment, or the initial deposit must be paid via the O Beach Ibiza reservation teams, at which point these terms and conditions come into existence between you and us and we will issue you with a confirmation invoice, showing any balance due and the due dates for payment.

If you choose the deposit and instalment option 25% of package price need to be paid to secure the booking. A further 25% of the package price is to be paid by 25th March 2022 and the balance of the package price must be paid by 01st September 2022. 

The O Beach reservations team reserve the right to vary the deposit payment. You will be advised of any variations at the time of your booking. All deposits are non-refundable. 

If payment is not received by the due date for the second instalment or by the due date for the final payment and remains unpaid within fourteen days of the relevant due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled, and you will incur cancellation charges as set by the O Beach Ibiza reservation teams, which could be up to 100% of the value of the booking. 

Any bookings made with twelve weeks of the Maldives takeover must be accompanied by full payment. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided when booking on the website or to the O Beach Ibiza reservation teams is correct and it is your responsibility to pass on any information the O Beach Ibiza reservation team gives to everyone you are travelling with. 

Amendments to bookings are not permitted. Your booking may not be sold or transferred to another person. 


Flights are not included. You are responsible for your own travel arrangements. 

We will provide airport transfers. Please share the following information by no later than 1st October 2022:

  • Arriving and departing flights – Airline name and flight number
  • Accompanying guest name(s) and date of birth for all traveling guests

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our airport representatives who will be holding a signboard of “Hard Rock Hotel Maldives” or “Saii Maldives”, who will assist you through the airport and guide you to the transfers which will be arranged for you. The duration of the trip is a 20-minute boat journey from Velana International Airport.

If you stay at another property before traveling to our resort, please advise the property name and your contact number for us to coordinate the transfer time and meeting point at the airport one day before arrival. 

Please be aware that the Maldives is a Muslim country and importation of alcohol is illegal. All luggage, including hand luggage is x-rayed on arrival before you leave the customs area, and your alcohol will be found and removed. 


Check-time is 14:00 hrs, check out time is 12:00 hrs. 

If you arrive before 14:00 hrs you can store your luggage with the hotel front office team until your room becomes available. 

Late checkout will be subject to availability. If you would like to organise late check out (up to 18:00 hrs) a 50% charge of the best available room rate will apply. After 18:00 hrs the full rate will apply. Please ask the hotel front office team for details

If you check out prior to your reserved check-out date, you will be charged an early departure fee. The hotel will inform of you of this potential charge upon check-in. 


When you book with us, you confirm that you will comply with the hotel policies at Hard Rock Hotel or Saii Lagoon Maldives, as applicable. A copy of the Hard Rock hotel policy is available here and a copy of the Saii Maldives hotel policy is available here. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the hotel policies. We do not accept any responsibility if you are found to be in breach of the hotel policies. We reserve the right to request reimbursement from you for any losses that we incur as a result of any damage caused by you. 


All bookings will include:

  • 4 nights stay at the Hard Rock Hotel or Sai Lagoon Maldives (see booking confirmation for further details on chosen hotel and chosen guest room).
  • All-inclusive meal plan.  
  • All-inclusive beverages extended until 4:00am nightly at the scheduled party, after which normal prices will apply. The mini bar in guest room is excluded and normal prices will apply.   
  • 4 bottled drinking water replenished daily in each guest room.
  • Wireless interest connection in guest rooms.
  • Roundtrip airport speedboat transfer.
  • All scheduled on land hotel activities.
  • Kayak, Snorkeling gear and pedal boards. Other water sport activities are chargeable. 

The following optional extras are available (subject to the hotel menu prices):

  • Excursions. Advanced booking is required (7 days before group arrival at minimum).
  • SPA access and treatments.
  • Diving.
  • Team Building Activities. Advance booking is required.  

We may introduce you to suppliers of excursions or other services. If you buy one of these, you’ll be contracting with the supplier directly, we act only as an agent and have no liability for the performance of that contract. These conditions do apply to any contract for excursions or other services.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission to and/or eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately. Please note that no refunds will be given under these circumstances.

Please be aware of your belongings inside the venue, as during your time at our Maldives takeover we cannot be held responsible for any unattended alcohol or personal items

In case of injury or accident, please make yourself known to resort staff. Please act and drink responsibly while on the resorts make sure you keep hydrated and act responsibly in the sea.

Please remember when receiving bottles of champagne and proceeding to open them:

  • Press down on the cork firmly whilst opening the cage/metal top.
  • Do not shake or point the bottle in the direction of your own self or that of anyone else.

Drugs are strictly prohibited.

Those staying in the overwater villas need to take extra care when returning to their rooms after dark.


You are fully responsible for ensuring compliance with national and/or local guidance and entry requirements relating to Covid-19. Please refer to the Hotel Policies (above). Advice can also be found on the gov.uk website here. We do not accept any responsibility if you are refused entry to Maldives as a result of any failure to comply with the covid-19 entry requirements. 

You are fully responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents such as passports, visas, ESTA and health documents are valid. 

We strongly advise you to contact the appropriate authorities for up-to-date information. Guidance can be found here. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss caused by incomplete and/or invalid personal documentation.


You MUST have appropriate travel insurance and we will be requiring proof of insurance. 

We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy that offers a high level of cover for the full duration of the tour. 

Travel insurance is advised to cover personal injury, medical expenses, costs associated with repatriation to home country, compensation for loss of luggage, and expenses associated with the cancellation, postponement, or delay of a tour (including any covid-19 related cancellations, postponements, or delay of the Maldives takeover). 

You acknowledge that in the event of injury or illness, all doctors’ fees, hospital costs, and repatriation expenses are your responsibility, and we will in no way be responsible or liable for the refund of the Maldives takeover booking costs. 

It is your responsibility ensure that you are receiving an adequate level of insurance cover and to read the full terms and conditions of your travel insurance prior to travel.


Where Maldives is exempt from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advisory against non-essential travel at the time of booking but is subsequently removed from the FCDO exemption list and at that point becomes subject to the FCDO advisory against non-essential travel you accept that you will not have the right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund. 

If you choose to no longer travel in these circumstances, you accept that the cancellation fee set out above applies, as you made your booking with full knowledge of the risks of travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please note that we will have no liability for any refunds, compensation, costs, expenses, or other losses of any kind incurred by you (including, where applicable, the cost of medical treatment), in the following circumstances:

  • If you, or anyone in your booking party, test positive for Covid-19, or are notified or otherwise become aware that you have, or suspect you may have, come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 (or where they otherwise suspect they may have Covid-19) and have to self-isolate for a period. Note that if this happens within 14 days of your departure date, you must contact us immediately as you may no longer be able to travel. 
  • You fail any tests, checks or other measures imposed by a supplier, airline, porter airport, border control authority or other government body or local authority or fail to submit for testing or assessment when requested to do so, and as such you are denied boarding, entry to Maldives, access to the travel services or you are otherwise unable to proceed with your booking, or any part of your booking, or you are required to self-isolate within the destination. 

You acknowledge that the suppliers working with us on the Maldives takeover will need to comply with national and/or local guidance and requirements relating to Covid-19 and may implement certain measures as a result. This will likely include specific requirement regarding personal protective equipment, such as use of face-masks, social distancing, maximum number restrictions on the use of certain facilities, designated alternative entrance and exit routes, mandatory hand sanitisation, limited entertainment options and limited food/drink availability and temperature testing. We do not expect these measures to have a significant impact on your enjoyment of the Maldives takeover and all measures will be taken with the purpose of securing your safety and those around you.


If you or any other member of your party wishes to cancel your booking with us which is subject of a confirmed booking, notice of cancellation must be received by us in writing. 

This must be done by the person who accepted our Terms of Business, or in the event of a credit card booking the card holder, and a written receipt obtained. 

Please note that the policy of our suppliers varies so much that we have a general policy to cover all eventualities. Therefore, all arrangements booked through us are “NON-REFUNDABLE” and are subject to 100 per cent cancellation fees, unless otherwise stated on our invoice and therefore insurance is most strongly recommended.

We are unable to transfer bookings/deposits to our sister venues Bam Bu Ku Ibiza or O Beach Dubai.


The Maldives takeover may be cancelled or postponed due to events that our beyond our control that make it inadvisable, commercially impractical, illegal or impossible for the event to continue. 

Examples of events beyond our control are: acts of God such as flood, flash flood, drought, earthquake, cyclone, typhoon, tsunami, landslide and volcanic activity, acts of governmental authority or governmental regulations, declared or threatened war or any terrorist attack in the Maldives, damage to or destruction of Hard Rock Hotel or Sai Lagoon Maldives whether by fire or otherwise, strike, riot, civil, public or political unrest or disorder, embargo, violent demonstration, insurrection, rebellion, sabotage or state of emergency or outbreak of disease or epidemic in Asia-Pacific county (even in the absence of a travel advisory being issued for the same). 

Upon the occurrence of an event beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel the Maldives takeover and all full refund will be provided.
